Casal Farneto, the name of the winery comes from the local-a century-old oak tree. The winery is now headed by Paolo Togni, who is passionate about wine and takes "the terroir and advantages of the Marche region to be recognized worldwide" as his life mission.
The vineyards of the winery are located in the Marche production area, adjacent to the mountains and the sea. The soil is mainly volcanic rock and stony soil. The history of planting in the producing area can be traced back to the 14th century, and it is famous for producing high-quality white wine Verdicchio and some high-quality red wines.
The area of the vineyard is 60 hectares with plenty of sunlight. The winery adopts different cultivation methods according to the different lighting conditions, soil types and the characteristics of different grape varieties in each vineyard to fully express the characteristics of each grape variety. The main grape variety planted in the vineyard is Verdicchio, in addition to Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The Casa Farneto Winery combines traditional and advanced winemaking techniques. In the winemaking process, manual intervention is minimized to express the original flavor of the grapes. The wines produced are rich in flavor and aromatic, which are very popular.
