Villa A Sesta is located in the prestigious classic Chianti (black rooster) producing area in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by mountains. There are many medieval villages, churches and castles in the surrounding area, all witnessing the ancient civilization and history contained in the area. According to historical records, people have grown grapes in this fertile soil since the Middle Ages.
There are currently 50 hectares of grape plantations here, which is the main base for the production of Chianti Classicos red wine. The main grape variety is Sangiovese. The suitable climate and good drainage system make this area very suitable for the growth of grapes.
The owner of the winery is a banker from Switzerland. His deep love for wine made him spare no effort to create a dream factory of Italian wine. Therefore, he built a new wine cellar covering an area of 5,000 square meters in the winery, which vividly demonstrated the perfect combination of tradition and innovation; his wine-making equipment adopts temperature-controlled wine-making equipment with the latest technology.
