Arnaldo Rivera (Arnaldo Rivera) is the founder and soul man of the famous Terre del Barolo. In 1958, he actively united the local grape growers in Barolo to form a joint association. We gathered the best quality grapes and made the cooperatives. From the participation of only 22 growers in the first year to more than 320 in the second year, the Barolo Lands Association has become famous and has become the largest, most productive and influential local cooperative.
While pursuing cost-effective Barolo grape wine, our winery did not forget the ultimate pursuit of terroir and began to explore higher-quality Barolo. Therefore, a new project was launched in 2013. From the vineyards of the Barolo production area with a total of more than 600 hectares of wine farmers under the cooperative, seven best single gardens from seven villages totaling 15 hectares were selected, and the production was fully reflected. A single-vineyard style of Barolo high-end boutique series, this series is named Arnaldo Rivera (for the convenience of reading and dissemination, abbreviated as AR series), to commemorate the great founder Arnaldo Rivera, remembering our Barolo people created today's glory with the initial unity.
In order to ensure its excellent quality, the output of AR series single products is controlled between 2,000 and 5,000 bottles. As everyone expects, this product has become the biggest annual highlight of the entire Barolo, and has been well received by the wine critics and collectors.
